A 23 acre multi-use year round facility with 4 ball diamonds; 3 soccer fields; 14 camping stalls (un-serviced) with toilets, showers and R.V. dumping station; 6 horse shoe pits; outdoor skating rink (paved); children's playground and 32,000 square foot fenced area for private social functions (covered eating area, B.B.Q, kitchen with sink, stove, fridge and fireplace).

DAVID A. VERES SOCIAL AREA

The Town of Coalhurst offers a large enclosed Social Area for rent for all your social functions.

The area offers a covered kitchen area equipped with a fridge, stove, gas BBQs, fireplace and picnic tables.

The consumption of alcoholic beverages is permitted in accordance with the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission.

Rental Rates are as follows:

9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.        $20.00
1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.        $35.00
6:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.      $55.00
9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.        $50.00
1:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.      $70.00

Weekends

A $200.00 damage deposit is required at the time of booking. Any damage done to the area will be assessed and charged against the deposit.

BALL DIAMONDS

Adjacent to the Social Area are four ball diamonds.  These diamonds are available for rent and can be booked for tournaments.

Rental rates for the ball diamonds are:

$20.00 per evening per diamond or $50.00 per day per diamond

A $100.00 security deposit is required for tournament events at the time of booking.  The deposit will be refunded at the completion of the booking if all conditions are met. The balance of the rental fee must be paid not later than 14 days prior to the event. 

SOCCER FIELDS

Coalhurst Miners Memorial Park also offers three soccer fields that are available for rent. They are located just west of the quad ball diamonds.  A security deposit of $100.00 is required for tournament events at the time of booking and will be refunded if all conditions are met. The balance of the rental fee must be paid no later than 14 days prior to the event.

Rental rates for the soccer fields are:

Youth teams                 $26.00 per game
Adult teams                  $37.00 per game
Tournaments (Youth) $27.00 per day
Tournaments (Adult) $55.00 per day

Vehicle access to drop off your equipment is permissible. Please do not park your vehicles on the soccer fields.

CAMPGROUND

Overnight camping is available at a charge of $10.00 per night.  The campground hosts pay showers and 14 camping stalls that can be reserved but must be paid for in advance.
